Wayfinding Collective
The SAILI Wayfinders Collective is a community-driven movement rooted in the Samoan word sa’ili, or seeking knowledge, which guides the preservation and sharing of ancestral wayfinding traditions. The collective unites Utah’s Pasifika community and Pacific Islander practitioners to teach navigation, storytelling, and cultural arts, helping members stay rooted and resilient even far from the islands. Through mentorship, workshops, and public programs, SAILI empowers youth and community members to connect with their heritage, celebrate cultural identity, and chart a thriving future.
